There’s a huge difference between street art graffiti and straightforward vandalism. In the part of London I work in, the streets are covered in some quite fantastic street art which undoubtedly goes a way to add character to the area. However, nonsensical scribbles with little to no real talent aren’t my cup of tea and can be quite the pain in the arse for city council workers who are left with the responsibility of cleaning it up.

However, this one ‘artist’ had a little fun with one city worker and I’m still debating on whether I find it hilarious or just completely irritating. You can decide for yourselves.
1. The original cover up job
2. And the graffiti artist returns to state the obvious
3. And add a silly doodle
4. Which saw a somewhat lazy coverup
5. Either this guy is a huge fan of Taylor Swift or he is going super basic with this troll
6. The inevitable reaction follows
7. And this goes on
8. And on
9. And on
10. And on
11. And on
12. Oh, cute – a nice little change
13. No more
14. Back to Red again
15. Been here before
16. Oh, thinking outside of the rectangle
17. This time he went pressure wash
18. As stated
19. Maybe he liked the top bit
20. Or was unhappy he didn’t get a reaction?
21. Yeah, fuck BTM
22. Yawn
23. When you colour outside of the lines
24. He means business now
25. Beautiful
26. Enough is enough
27. What even is that?
28. Harmony is restored
29. I actually quite like this as a random statement for passersby
All in all, it was just some troll which probably wasted council money and time and I do question the graffiti artists amount of spare time. The building does look better red though, so silver linings. If you want to see real street art, you need to see these 13 incredible pieces.
